CIX 913: Intermediate HTML Publishing

Learn How to Format and Style Pages with Fonts, Manage Structure with Tables and Add Interactivity with Forms

This course builds on the skills gained in the Introduction to HTML class, and introduces HTML5 semantic pages with CSS styling. Topics covered include: a quick review of basic adding content and images; using tables to present data; using Div and semantic HTML5 tags to organize content and control layout; working with form elements for user feedback.

Take your HTML skills to the next level in CIX 914: Advanced HTML, where you'll learn to apply Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), add some easy to use JavaScript to your pages for more interactivity, and use frames to change your site's navigation.

Feel like you're ready to just jump right in? Then you'll want to learn how to create, manage and upload your own web sites with CIX 902: Using Dreamweaver. If you want to get artistic, try designing your own web graphics with CIX 936: Using Fireworks, and really make your sites soar with animation and multimedia created with CIX 935: Using Animate CC.
