About the Instructor: Anissa Barton-Thompson

Anissa, an accomplished web developer and graphic designer, trainer and speaker, has received awards for her work on high-end e-commerce, consumer, entertainment, community service and education sites. She has taught web site design at CSUDH since 1995, and is the developer of this certificate.

Anissa is an Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) with an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) Certification in Dreamweaver. She also consulted on the production of and contributed a featured website to the Total Training Dreamweaver 8 and CS3 series training DVDs. Anissa is also a published photographer. She also has been an active teaching assistant and/or guest speaker for Adobe MAX, the Connecting Women to Power Business Conference, and the Los Angeles Web Professionals Group (LAWPG), where she is co-manager and host.

Anissa volunteers as a Tech Lead for Black Girls Code (Los Angeles) and other Youth in STEAM organizations. She is a Google Apps for Education administrator, and is currently completing study to become a Certified Google Teacher. She is also a published stock photographer.
